Rain on a Tent — Free Sounds & Sleep Timer

Listen to this recording

Rain falling on a tent, recorded with a mobile phone. Listen to the canvas-like patter alone or add a separate wind layer.

Where this sound comes from

The source is Rain on tent by Breviceps. Our 30-second stereo loop was prepared from the author’s public high-quality MP3 preview. It is a distinct recording, not the original outdoor rain with a tent picture.

The same short events can return when the file repeats. No music is added. A long listening session is not a claim that the original recording lasts for hours.

Balance a second layer

The second choice adds a separate wind track. Start with the original recording, then use the individual sliders to decide whether the extra texture is useful. The tracks are independently sourced, not a single live scene.

Use the sleep timer for a defined end. Black screen removes the visible page while the sound continues; it does not guarantee background playback after a phone locks.

Recordings & sources

The player repeats the short audio files below for as long as your session runs. The loop length is the length of each file, not a limit on listening time. Events within a recording may repeat.

Start at a comfortable level. The volume percentages describe player settings; they do not measure the sound level at your ears. Playback with a locked screen or a background tab depends on your device and browser. Opening another page stops playback.
